  A foreign professor rescues animals in Wenzhou   Britt Gharachamani , a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Wenzhou-Kean University, has persisted in rescuing stray animals during her three years in Wenzhou, China.   Before coming to China, Gharachamani was a volunteer foster family for stray animals in California, the United States. She took the rescued animals home to care for them and prepare for the subsequent adoption. After coming to China, she began to rescue stray animals as a direct rescuer. Britt Gharachamani went to the rescue base in Minggang Village to visit the dogs, who used to face the danger of being taken away by dog catchers from the WKU campus, Wenzhou. Sunday, Apr. 13, 2025. Traveling Alone is My Gift in Life

The countless trips before this made me feel more like a stressful social and compromise, and the inner expectation was always gradually dissipated in the disagreement of friends, the urging, and even the accusations of parents. I think it was the bravest decision I've ever made, not having to compromise with anyone, and going anywhere I want.      Sitting on a flight to Japan, I made sure over and over again that I still had the courage to go. I've found that when traveling alone, those long distances and quiet nights, make solitude a clear thought.
